Product Description

Aspartame presents as a white crystalline powder, either odorless or with a delicate aroma, yet it holds a significant position in the sweetener field due to its astonishing sweetness — up to 180–220 times that of sucrose.

In terms of physical and chemical properties, the stability of aspartame "varies with the environment". It can exist relatively stably in an acidic environment and maintain its sweet characteristics. However, under neutral or alkaline conditions, especially when exposed to high temperatures, its chemical structure is prone to decomposition, causing the sweetness to weaken or even disappear. Nevertheless, its good water solubility endows it with strong adaptability, as it can quickly dissolve in water and other polar solvents, easily integrating into the production formulas of various foods and beverages to ensure uniform release of sweetness.

Safety has always been a focal point concerning aspartame.
